Key Benefits:

  • Personal & Relevant – Lessons about YOUR life and interests
  • Privacy-First – Uses your own AI (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
  • Flexible – Adjust difficulty, style, and focus
  • Fast – Generate a full lesson in ~2 minutes

Tips for Best Results

🎯 Be Specific in Your Topic

Good: “Ordering vegetarian food at a Korean restaurant”
Bad: “Food”

Why: Specific topics generate more useful, memorable content.

💭 Add Personal Context

Good: “I’m gluten-intolerant and traveling to Italy next month”
Bad: [empty]

Why: Personal stakes make lessons more engaging and easier to remember.

📊 Match Level to Reality

  • A1-A2: You’re a complete beginner
  • B1-B2: You can have basic conversations
  • C1-C2: You’re fluent but want refinement

Why: Lessons too easy or too hard won’t help you progress.

🎨 Choose Your Style Wisely

StyleBest ForExample
ConversationalDaily life, travel, making friendsParty small talk
FormalBusiness, academia, official situationsJob interviews
FunHobbies, pop culture, staying motivatedCooking shows
AcademicExams, literature, technical readingUniversity prep

🔢 Adjust Card Counts

Don’t like a preset? Customize the card mix:

  1. Start with a preset (e.g., Quick)
  2. Click the + / - buttons to adjust card types
  3. See the total update (e.g., “15 total”)
  4. Generate your custom mix

Pro Tip: More card types = more varied practice, but longer lessons.

Troubleshooting

❌ “Validation Error: Invalid lesson JSON”

Cause: AI didn’t follow the specification exactly.

Fix:

  1. Ask the AI: “Please output ONLY the JSON object, no explanation”
  2. Check for markdown code fences (```json) and remove them
  3. Ensure the response starts with { and ends with }

❌ Quick links don’t work

Cause: Some AI platforms don’t support URL-based prompts.

Fix: Use Option B (Copy Prompt) and paste manually.

❌ AI generates content in wrong language

Cause: Confused source/target languages.

Fix:

  1. Double-check your language selection
  2. In the prompt, emphasize: “Source language is [X], target language is [Y]”

❌ Lesson is too easy/hard

Cause: CEFR level mismatch.

Fix: Regenerate with adjusted level (+1 or -1).
